Hello and welcome to our site, we're glad you have found your way into exploring the exciting world of CHINA.
We lived in China for 6 months in the province of Hunan at a Univeristy called Xiangtan University , located in the city of Xiangtan, which was just outside of the capital, Changsha. It was a great experience that opened our eyes to how others live in different parts of the world.
Along our journey we did much traveling and met so many friends, everyone here wants to be your friend, that we felt it important to pass along some of the things we found interesting and important when looking to live, teach or just visit China.
We've created this site to provide answers to questions you may have before going abroad to this huge country. These are questions that we had but never really got a complete answer to, also we've taken many photos and videos to help explain exactly what you may or may not have heard.
Don't get us wrong, we all love surprises, but sometimes it's actually nice knowing what kind of surprise awaits. If you have any questions, comments or think there is something missing from our site that should be provided for others to know, feel free to drop us a line, we'd love to hear from you. This was for a Chinese TV Show, where we performed in front of all sorts of cameras and a huge live audience. Performances are very popular, but we believed that due to our little Brayden, we were even more popular and they all wanted us to perform. Michelle sang and Ben played the guitar for this performance.
It's interesting, we found it very popular for those performing to receive gifts like flowers during their performance. Then sometimes after their performance they would receive another gift too. Often we would see people run onto the stage and hand deliver a rose or a bouquet of flowers during the performer's solo.
We found there were many opportunities to get involved at the University and often they would have a Fair of all the clubs at the university to get students to join their club.

Meet the Creators....
Michelle Burnett is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born and raised in Utah. She graduated from Snow College and Utah State University with a Bachelor's in Education. She taught school and coached basketball for 3 years before furthering her education and getting a cosmetology degree from Career Beauty College. She still cuts hair and takes care of two beautiful kids.
Benjamin Burnett was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Communications and a minor in International Studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Ben just fell in love with the Chinese people and continues to keep in touch with many of his students whom he taught. He continues to study other cultures and travel the world.
